Bangladesh evacuated nearly 800,000 people from vulnerable areas in anticipation of severe Cyclone ‘Remal’ forming over the Bay of Bengal.
The storm is forecasted to hit Bangladesh and India’s West Bengal coasts by midnight Sunday, with wind speeds up to 120 km/h and gusts up to 135 km/h expected.
