WAEC Alerted by Ballot Paper Errors Before Local Elections

Errors have been reported in some ballot papers ahead of the October 8 local government elections, with acting Electoral Commissioner Dennis O’Reilly stating that the issues, including misdelivered ballots and empty envelopes, are not widespread and are mostly due to human error. Despite past election problems, over 100,000 ballots have already been returned, indicating strong voter participation.
