Lio Cundiff, who cannot swim, heroically jumped into Lake Michigan to rescue an 8-month-old baby whose stroller was blown into the water by a strong gust of wind. Responding to the mother’s screams, Cundiff struggled to keep the baby afloat until help arrived. Both he and the baby were pulled to safety, with the baby reported to be fine, while Cundiff remains hospitalized for monitoring but is expected to recover soon.
