Azerbaijani judoka wins silver medal at Grand Slam tournament

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 30. Azerbaijani judoka Rashid Mamedaliyev has achieved a silver medal at the Grand Slam tournament in Antalya, Turkey, as reported by Trend.

Competing in the 73 kg weight category, the athlete was defeated by Moldovan Adil Osmanov in the final match.

This marks the national team’s first medal in the competition.

Azerbaijan is represented by nine judokas at the ongoing Grand Slam tournament, which is scheduled to continue until March 31.
