Australians are advised against “panic canceling” flights amid rising tensions in the Middle East, with flights from Dubai to Sydney resuming. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese expressed hope for additional flights, while the Travel Industry Association confirmed that airlines are operating cautiously but safely. There are currently 24,000 Australians in the UAE and 115,000 in the broader region, with military assets deployed to assist stranded citizens. Opposition critics argue the government is not doing enough for repatriation efforts.
