The gunman who killed three people and injured over a dozen at a bar in Austin, Texas, has been identified as 53-year-old Ndiaga Diagne. Prior to the attack, he allegedly posted antisemitic, anti-Christian, and misogynistic content online, including inflammatory comments about political figures. Diagne, an immigrant from Senegal, had a history of mental health issues and was killed by police during the incident. Investigators found Islamic paraphernalia in his possession, suggesting ideological motivations tied to the ongoing conflict involving Iran.
