OTTAWA — Auditor General Karen Hogan’s reports reveal the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) is struggling to recruit sufficient skilled personnel, with only 15,000 recruits from nearly 192,000 applicants between 2022-2025, while existing members face inadequate housing conditions, including lack of potable water.
