Atishi has been denied permission to hoist the national flag on Independence Day as requested by Delhi CM Kejriwal, according to the General Administration Department (GAD) as reported by India TV. The GAD cited guidelines that only the Lt Governor, Chief Minister, and ministers can hoist the flag at government offices, leading to Atishi being unable to fulfill the CM’s request.
