At least 22 people have died after a construction crane fell on a passenger train in northeast Thailand, derailing it on its journey from Bangkok to Ubon Ratchathani province. The incident occurred in the Sikhio district of Nakhon Ratchasima province, with initial reports of four fatalities quickly rising to 22, along with 55 injuries. Rescue efforts are underway at the site of the accident, where a brief fire ensued before being extinguished.
