ASUS has revealed a serious security vulnerability affecting routers with AiCloud enabled, allowing remote attackers to execute unauthorized functions on affected devices. This vulnerability, identified as CVE-2025-2492, has been assigned a high CVSS score of 9.2 out of 10. The issue stems from improper authentication control in specific ASUS router firmware series, highlighting the urgent need for users to address this security risk.
