Explosive drone discovered near US embassy in Baghdad

Two explosive drones targeted the US embassy in Baghdad early Tuesday, with one landing nearby, causing smoke to rise from the area. On Monday, a separate drone struck the Al-Rasheed hotel in the Green Zone, which houses government buildings and the embassy, but resulted in no injuries or damage. Iraq’s interior ministry condemned any attacks on diplomatic missions following these incidents. Security sources also reported that two Katyusha rockets were fired at the US embassy.
