Israel threatened Lebanon with severe consequences if it fails to disarm Hezbollah, conducting airstrikes that have resulted in nearly 300 deaths and extensive displacement of civilians. Following a deadly airborne raid, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu emphasized Lebanon’s responsibility to control Hezbollah, while Israeli Defense Minister Katz warned of a heavy price for Lebanon if the group remains armed. The conflict has led to significant evacuations, with around 300,000 people displaced, and prompted the departure of Iranian diplomats from Beirut.
