IRGC officers leave Beirut amid escalating Israeli airstrikes

Several dozen officers from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have fled Beirut amid rising fears of Israeli airstrikes. Lebanese Information Minister Paul Morcos announced that IRGC personnel would face arrest, and military operations by the group would be banned, with potential deportations for those detained. Additionally, Lebanon’s cabinet has decided to revoke visa-free entry for Iranians. Hezbollah has warned Israeli residents near the border to evacuate, vowing to challenge Israeli military aggression.
