Evacuation flights begin for stranded travelers in the Gulf

Israel has begun its operation to repatriate citizens stranded abroad, with the first two flights expected to arrive at Ben-Gurion Airport on Thursday morning. Following a U.S. charter flight initiative, over 17,500 American citizens have returned from the Middle East, with many more still in transit. Qatar Airways is also scheduled to start limited relief flights from Muscat and Riyadh, while a British repatriation flight from Oman has been delayed to Thursday due to pilot rest requirements.
