The Israeli agency COGAT has dismissed claims from Doctors Without Borders (MSF) regarding a water crisis in Gaza due to restrictions on their activities, asserting that Gaza receives sufficient water and medical care. COGAT accused MSF of fabricating a crisis for political motives rather than genuine humanitarian reasons. Israel’s Diaspora Affairs Ministry announced plans to terminate MSF’s operations in Gaza for failing to meet registration requirements, aimed at preventing aid misuse by Hamas. MSF had previously warned that their withdrawal could endanger access to drinking water for hundreds of thousands of people.
