Foreign Ministers Criticize Israel’s Actions in West Bank
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Foreign Ministers from several Arab and Muslim countries condemned the Israeli Security Cabinet’s recent decision to strengthen legal control over the West Bank, asserting it violates international law and undermines the two-state solution. The joint statement, shared by the Jordanian Foreign Ministry, criticized measures that could lead to the illegal annexation of Palestinian territories and displacement of their population. Among the changes, the cabinet approved increased Israeli oversight in Areas A and B and repealed a law preventing land sales to Jews. These actions have been deemed a blatant violation of UN Security Council resolutions, particularly UNSCR 2334.
