Report: Donald Trump did not halt executions in Iran

Prosecutor-General of Iran, Mohammad Movahedi Azad, refuted claims by US President Donald Trump that he had halted the execution of over 800 individuals in Iran, asserting that no such number or decision existed. Trump had stated he threatened Iran with military action if executions proceeded, suggesting this led to a last-minute cancellation. Movahedi Azad emphasized the independence of the Iranian judiciary from foreign influence. As tensions escalate, Trump is reportedly considering military options against Iran, with US forces repositioning in the region.
