Turkey Supports Syria Following Kurdish Agreement

Turkish President Erdogan reaffirmed Ankara’s support for Damascus in combating terrorism during a call with Syrian Foreign Minister Sharaa, following a deal to integrate Kurdish authorities under central control. Erdogan emphasized the need to eliminate terrorism from Syrian territory for regional stability. Sharaa subsequently canceled his visit to Berlin, where he was set to meet German leaders. Meanwhile, Mazloum Adbi, leader of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces, plans to meet with Sharaa in Damascus to discuss recent agreements.
