Tehran Negotiations
Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, stated that Tehran is open to negotiations with the U.S. based on “mutual respect and interests,” while also prepared for conflict if necessary. During a press conference in Beirut, he discussed Israel’s regional security threats and the aim of strengthening ties with Lebanon. He invited Raji, a Lebanese official, to visit Iran to further discuss bilateral relations, despite Raji citing “current conditions” for not traveling to Iran.
