Serbia’s Vucic to ‘Post’: I asked my Arab friends to save Alon Ohel

BELGRADE – Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić disclosed to The Jerusalem Post his appeal to Arab leaders for the release of Alon Ohel, an Israeli-Serbian citizen abducted by Hamas during the October 7 massacre. Vučić expressed his admiration for Ohel’s family and shared that they had received information confirming Ohel’s survival and injuries, including blindness in one eye. He emphasized Serbia’s commitment to international cooperation, highlighting his efforts to leverage ties with Arab nations to secure Ohel’s release, while reflecting on the tragic circumstances of his captivity.
