Qatar looks for bodies of US citizens killed by ISIS

A Qatari mission is currently underway to locate the remains of US hostages killed by Islamic State in Syria approximately a decade ago. The search, which began with the assistance of several Americans, has reportedly uncovered three unidentified bodies, with an initial focus on finding aid worker Peter Kassig, who was beheaded in 2014. This effort follows a longstanding commitment from US administrations to recover the remains of murdered Americans, including journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff, and aid worker Kayla Mueller, as the mission coincides with significant diplomatic visits in the region.
