The United States has imposed sanctions on six individuals and six entities from Iran and China for their roles in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ ballistic missile program, specifically for acquiring propellant ingredients like sodium perchlorate and dioctyl sebacate.
Among the sanctioned entities is Iran’s Saman Tejarat Barman Trading Company and five Chinese companies involved in the shipment and financial support of these materials.
These actions align with President Trump’s directive to exert maximum economic pressure on Iran, aiming to curb its ballistic missile and nuclear programs.
