Police have identified the motorcyclist who died in a crash near Arthur’s Pass as 54-year-old Paul Wilcock of Kumara. He was reported missing after not reaching Christchurch on Friday, with his body discovered near Punchbowl Falls on Sunday. Cellphone data was used to locate him, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
