Fr Paul Murphy, an army chaplain, forgave a teenage boy who stabbed him seven times with a hunting knife, expressing forgiveness and offering hope for the boy’s rehabilitation. The boy, motivated by ISIS propaganda, attacked Murphy in protest of the Irish Defence Forces involvement in Mali.
