Ethan Webster’s life sentence for Jacob Ramsay’s murder may be overturned

The life sentence of Ethan Webster, a teen farmer involved in the murder of Jacob Mills Ramsay, is set to be quashed. At 18, Webster and 39-year-old William Mark Candy brutally killed Ramsay by beating him, chaining him to a car, and dragging him over 1km. They disposed of his body in a rubbish pit at their dairy farm in Oaonui, South Taranaki, motivated by a minor debt Ramsay owed them.
