Dolphins fullback Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow has expressed his readiness to play in any position for the Queensland State of Origin team, following his versatile performance last year where he played as a centre, wing, and fullback. In last year’s series, he started in the centres, scored two tries as a winger in game two, and played fullback in the decisive game, helping Queensland secure a 2-1 series victory. While Tabuai-Fidow prefers to settle into one position, he emphasizes a team-first mentality and is prepared to fulfill whatever role is needed. With a track record of 11 tries in 10 Origin games, primarily as a centre, he acknowledges the likelihood of Brisbane’s Reece Walsh returning to the fullback position. The upcoming series begins on May 27 and features matches in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Tabuai-Fidow will also play fullback for the Dolphins against Canterbury, noting the positive impact of teammate Jeremy Marshall-King’s return from injury.
