An Antiques Roadshow expert was thrilled by a ballerina-style brooch presented by a mother-and-daughter duo, suspecting it could be worth a fortune. The brooch, made with turquoise, rubies, 18 carat gold, and diamonds, resembled the work of renowned jewellers Van Cleef and Arpels. Despite the lack of a signature, the expert suggested the brooch could be valued at “tens and tens of thousands” of pounds, urging the guests to seek verification from the company.
