Listed glove manufacturer Ansell has appointed Nathalie Ahlström, former CEO of Finland’s Fiskars Group, as its new chief executive, succeeding Neil Salmon on February 16. Ahlström will transition from the homewares sector to protective gloves and garments, leading Ansell, which has a market cap of around $4 billion. Despite a profit increase in the last financial year, Ansell’s stock has dropped 6.4% following the announcement. Salmon, who is retiring after 13 years, will assist Ahlström during the transition.
