An ‘unexpected odor’ was reported at the space station

Operators of the ISS were alerted to an unexpected odor coming from the Russian Progress cargo spacecraft docked at the station, which brought 2.5 tons of supplies. Russian cosmonauts noticed the odor and unidentified liquid upon opening the spacecraft’s hatch, leading to precautionary measures.
