An investigation is underway after two planes operated by American Airlines and Frontier Airlines clipped wings on the tarmac at Logan International Airport in Boston. The incident occurred when an American Airlines Boeing 777 struck the wingtip of a Frontier Airlines Airbus A321 that was parked at the gate. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, and both planes were taken out of service for inspection. The FAA is investigating the incident, which occurred in an area not under air traffic control.
