Benchmarks show the Ryzen 9 9950X3D performs better on Windows 10 than Windows 11, particularly in CPU-bound games like CS2 and Fortnite, with a noticeable drop in performance when VBS is enabled. Despite testing on a custom-tuned version of Windows 11 24H2, the chip still underperforms compared to Windows 10, raising concerns as Windows 10 support will end in 2025. The Ryzen 9950X3D, released as an enthusiast-class processor with 3D V-cache, delivers excellent gaming performance but falls behind the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D in some benchmarks.
