Amazon recently unveiled a revamped version of its Alexa chatbot in New York City, which can now perform new tasks through AI technology. Consumers can access the digital companion through voice activation with Echo devices or a dedicated web portal called Alexa+. The juiced-up assistant offers contextual awareness and can perform complex tasks, but comes at a cost of $20 per month for non-Prime subscribers, while Prime members get it for free.
