Amazon’s cloud computing service, AWS, faced a significant outage that disrupted various apps and websites worldwide, including Snapchat, Roblox, and the McDonald’s app. The issue primarily affected the eastern U.S. region but began to recover by early morning, with AWS reporting a full mitigation of the underlying DNS problem and most services returning to normal shortly thereafter.
