Alphabet to invest $3.3 billion for two data centers in South Carolina

Alphabet, the parent company of Google, plans to invest $3.3 billion in South Carolina to build two new data centers, according to CEO Sundar Pichai. The new data center campuses will be located in Dorchester County and expand the existing campus in Berkeley County. This investment is part of Alphabet’s efforts to strengthen its infrastructure in support of new artificial intelligence applications.
