Alhambra police officers fatally shot a man in the 1200 block of South Almansor St. after he advanced on them with a knife during a response to a call reporting a suicidal individual. The man, who has not been identified, was shot multiple times after ignoring commands to drop the knife and approaching the officers aggressively. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital, and a large kitchen knife was found at the scene.
