Alcaraz Becomes Year-End World Number One at ATP Finals

Carlos Alcaraz beats out Jannik Sinner to number one spot after the Spaniard defeated Lorenzo Musetti in Turin, Italy.

Carlos Alcaraz secured the year-end world number one ranking by defeating Lorenzo Musetti 6-4, 6-1 at the ATP Finals, also eliminating Musetti from the tournament. Alcaraz, who previously topped the rankings in 2022, had an exceptional season, winning eight titles and two Grand Slams. Meanwhile, Alex De Minaur advanced to the semifinals after beating Taylor Fritz, who was eliminated. Alcaraz expressed excitement for the semifinals, aiming for his first ATP Finals title.
