TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Alabama defeated No. 6 Kentucky 64-51, with Jessica Timmons scoring 24 points and Diana Collins adding 16. This victory marks Alabama’s highest-ranked regular-season win under coach Kristy Curry and the best since 1997. Kentucky struggled with turnovers, committing 20 in total, and was without injured forward Teonni Key, ultimately losing the rebounding battle 40-38. The Wildcats’ leading scorers were limited to just 18 points, with Kentucky shooting 31% from the field.
