Air Canada eliminates 400 management positions

Air Canada has announced the elimination of approximately 400 management positions, equating to 1% of its workforce, as part of an ongoing review to optimize resources and processes, according to spokesperson Christophe Hennebelle. The cuts, confirmed to CTV and CBC, are not expected to affect daily operations and come ahead of the airline’s earnings report scheduled for November 5.
