In her letter to Governor Tim Walz, Rollins emphasized the need for thorough eligibility checks, including in-person interviews and using federal databases. This action follows allegations of extensive fraud involving deceased individuals and “ghost students” in state programs. Education Secretary Linda McMahon has also called for Walz’s resignation over fraudulent activities linked to community colleges in Minnesota.
