An inquest has begun into the 2019 death of NZSAS soldier Lance Corporal Nicholas Kahotea, involving heightened security as elite unit members provide testimonies. Footage presented at the inquest captured the moment Kahotea fell from a Black Hawk helicopter during a training exercise, resulting in fatal injuries.
