A water crisis is worsening at the Goudrane refugee camp in eastern Chad, where approximately 50,000 Sudanese refugees are struggling for survival. After four days without water, a truck delivered 6,000 liters, which was quickly depleted as hundreds rushed to fill containers. Over 938,000 Sudanese have fled to Chad since April 2023, many facing inadequate water supplies and dire living conditions in overcrowded camps. Humanitarian organizations warn that current aid efforts are insufficient to meet the growing needs of refugees.
