Donald John Trump has made history by winning a closely contested US Presidential election against Kamala Harris, becoming the 47th President of the United States after securing over 71 million votes and 279 Electoral College votes. Despite facing scrutiny for his attempts to overturn the 2020 election results, Trump has returned to the White House with promises to heal the country and focus on border security and economic issues.
