Disruptions in partnerships and foreign aid pose a risk of contagion spread, highlighting the importance of maintaining support for TB and HIV programs. With a significant funding gap for TB services and declining global funding for research, more resources are needed to develop new medicines and vaccines to combat these infectious diseases in both low- and middle-income countries.
