Africa: Korea Inspires Green Digital Futures for Mozambique and Madagascar

Countries like Mozambique and Madagascar are grappling with the challenge of balancing digital expansion with sustainable energy use, seeking inspiration from Korea’s successful integration of cutting-edge policies, AI-driven energy solutions, and smart grid technologies. Delegations from the two African nations visited Korea to learn about AI-powered energy management solutions and the importance of digital literacy in ensuring equitable access to technology. As a result, Mozambique and Madagascar are now exploring AI-driven energy management, stronger policy frameworks, and feasibility studies for Information Access Centers to achieve a greener, more connected future with support from the Korea Digital Development program.
