The AFLW grand final is set to take place at Ikon Park on November 29, unless the Brisbane Lions qualify and North Melbourne does not. League boss Emma Moore stated that the grand final will only move to Marvel Stadium when it can confidently sell out. The league is focused on growth, aiming to expand seasons beyond 12 rounds and increase fan attendance, which has seen significant year-on-year growth. A night grand final format will continue, following last year’s successful event.
