Afghanistan vs Sri Lanka cricket series canceled due to Iran conflict

Sri Lanka has indefinitely postponed a six-match limited-overs cricket series against Afghanistan that was set to begin in the UAE due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. A Sri Lanka Cricket official cited flight disruptions and regional fighting as reasons for the cancellation. The series was to include three T20 matches in Sharjah and three ODIs in Dubai, marking Afghanistan’s first attempt to host Sri Lanka for a bilateral series.
