Four people, including three children, were killed in a Pakistani shelling attack in eastern Afghanistan’s Khost province. The governor’s spokesperson reported that Pakistani forces targeted Nari village, resulting in the deaths of a woman and a child. Additionally, cross-border fighting in the past week has claimed at least 18 civilian lives. The World Food Programme is mobilizing aid for over 20,000 families displaced by the ongoing conflict, which has escalated tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
