ACT’s phone detection cameras catch 2576 offenders in two weeks | The Canberra Times

How does this make you feel?



The camera system’s AI conducts the initial image sorting process and identifies potential offenders. It compiles three photos – one taken from approximately 25 meters away, followed by two more taken microseconds later, including a “look down” image directly into the vehicle’s front row of seats – into an “evidence package.” This package is then transferred to the Access Canberra adjudicators on Northbourne Avenue.
