Active shooter at Kentucky highway, ‘numerous persons’ shot in traffic

Kentucky police reported an “active shooter situation” on Saturday evening at Interstate-75 near London, where “numerous persons” were shot in traffic. The incident began just before 6 p.m. about nine miles outside of London, with shots reportedly coming from a wooded area or overpass. Multiple vehicles were fired at on Interstate 75 in Laurel County, prompting officers to respond to reports of the shooting.
