Ace Bailey exits Jazz-Pistons game due to hip strain

Utah’s Ace Bailey exited Friday night’s game against the Detroit Pistons in the first half due to a left hip strain and did not return. The rookie guard, who was the No. 5 overall pick in this year’s draft, went scoreless in 11 minutes but has been averaging 10.7 points per game, having scored in double figures for four consecutive games. Brice Sensabaugh took over Bailey’s position in the second half. The Jazz will be monitoring Bailey’s condition moving forward.
